dc.description.abstractExercise, a non-pharmacologic therapeutic approach has a crucial role to reduce the side effects of patients with cancer. In this review the possible explanations of the mechanism for how exercise reduces the side effects of cancer and its' treatments were reported. The exercise types that commonly used such as aerobic, resistance, yoga, pilates, breathing, relaxation and stretching exercises and their characteristics were summarized. The most effective exercise strategies and protocols are needed to be determined in further studies. The aim of this literature review is to reveal the parameters and role of exercises in cancer rehabilitation.
